Collection: “Revisiting Montego Dream”

Celebrating the festive season of reflection filled with care and love.

Collection “Revisiting Montego Dream”, featuring Montego Dream (Packham Pear) Gathered Top.

As the year is coming to its end, I have decided to spend this year a little differently than other years. There is no holiday trip to a beautiful beach or snowy mountain. I am spending it here, at home, in Singapore. Cooling down and taking more time with myself, my experiences have led to this collection.

“No two artwork is the same” is a value that Doodles by Art holds very dearly. At the same time, there will always be THAT one art piece, where once it has been sold out, we will receive messages to bring it back because the art piece was very loved.

Taking inspiration from an old-school classic scrapbook and Instagram #throwback, we have decided to launch something special as a gift from us to you: revisiting the familiar and the new — Montego Dream (Packham Pear) Collection.

Scrapbook #throwback

A Scrapbook is not only a collection of physical copies of important photos, but it also provides a place for non-digital items, like drawings, fallen leaves, souvenirs and postcards.

A #throwback on Instagram is a special #hashtag. The idea of sharing something from the past (something old) with current sentiments (something new), creates a new memory to share and remember.

Why Packham Pear?

There is an interesting or funny story behind this. Out of all the fruits while I was living in Melbourne, Australia, I loved Packham Pear the most. Since Montego Dream represents the shade and colour of my feelings back when I missed my time in Australia, it is only fitting to pair Montego Dream with something sweet :)

Amid the jingle bells and buzzing festive atmosphere, let us take some time to reflect and understand our own emotions. Revisit memories and feel them anew now. We hope our little gift brings you a little sweet something to remind you of how far you have come in this journey called LIFE.

Last, but not least

Thank you to all of you: old friends, new friends, soon-to-be friends. Truly, we can do what we do because of all of you!
